→ Seasonings

10 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
12 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
13 - ¼ teaspoon salt
14 - ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

# How To Make:

01 - Place softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with a spoon or spatula until completely smooth and no lumps remain.
02 - Add chopped chives, dill, parsley, grated carrot, diced cucumber, and diced radishes to the creamy base. Fold ingredients together until herbs and vegetables are evenly distributed throughout.
03 - Sprinkle in lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to ensure seasonings are well incorporated.
04 - Taste the dip and add additional salt or pepper if desired. Remember flavors will intensify slightly after chilling.
05 - Transfer dip to a decorative serving bowl. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld together.
06 - Serve chilled with an assortment of fresh vegetables, crackers, or pita chips for dipping.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The creamy base somehow makes every fresh vegetable taste better than it has any right to taste
  • It comes together in ten minutes flat but your guests will think you labored over it
  • You can make it the day before and the flavors just get friendlier with each passing hour
02 -
  • Room temperature cream cheese will save you so much frustration and prevent those annoying tiny lumps that refuse to mix in
  • The thirty minute chill time is not optional if you want the flavors to actually taste like they belong together
03 -
  • Use a box grater for the carrot to get those fine threads that almost disappear into the dip
  • Seed your cucumber by scooping out the center with a spoon or the dip will get watery as it sits
