# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Its essentially a fancy coffee shop drink that costs pennies to make at home
  • The homemade strawberry puree puts those artificial syrups to absolute shame
02 -
  • Make sure your coffee is completely cold before pouring. Warm coffee will melt the ice instantly and ruin that perfect layered presentation
  • The strawberry puree can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to three days, which makes these incredibly quick to assemble on busy mornings
03 -
  • Invest in a good handheld milk frother. It creates that coffee shop foam texture on top and costs less than twenty dollars
  • Blend the strawberries while they are still slightly warm, the puree becomes smoother and incorporates better with the milk
