Juicy hamburgers air-fried to perfection in 22 minutes with classic seasonings.

# What You Need:

→ Meat

01 - 1 lb ground beef, 80/20 blend recommended

→ Seasonings

02 - 1 tsp kosher salt
03 - ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1 tsp onion powder
06 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

→ Optional Add-ins

07 - 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
08 - 1 egg

→ To Serve

09 - 4 hamburger buns
10 - Lettuce leaves
11 - Sliced tomato
12 - Sliced onion
13 - Sliced pickles
14 - Cheese slices
15 - Ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

# How To Make:

01 - Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and optional breadcrumbs and egg in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined—avoid overmixing to ensure tender patties.
02 - Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each into a patty about ¾-inch thick. Press your thumb into the center of each patty to create a small indentation, preventing puffing during cooking.
03 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes before cooking.
04 - Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring some space between each patty for proper air circulation.
05 - Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Cook until patties reach your desired doneness, targeting an internal temperature of 160°F for medium-well.
06 - If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the final minute of cooking to allow melting.
07 - Remove patties from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
08 - Place patties on hamburger buns and add desired toppings. Serve immediately while hot.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The air fryer renders fat beautifully while keeping patties incredibly moist, no grilling required
  • Faster than firing up the grill and way less mess than cooking on the stove
  • Perfectly portioned patties every single time, with that irresistible crispy edge
02 -
  • Never press down on patties while they're cooking or you're literally squeezing out all the juice you worked to keep in
  • The thumb indentation trick actually works and will save your burgers from turning into miniature meatballs
03 -
  • Toast your buns in the air fryer for the last minute while patties rest, and thank me later
  • Invest in a good meat thermometer because guessing doneness always leads to disappointment
